Graduation parties celebrate the person as much as the degree. This setup, shared on our Facebook page in July 2026, congratulated Arshan, Class of 2026 at Northeastern University, with a navy and gold design.
The design
- A navy panel with gold script reads “Congratulations Arshan, You did it!” with the university's name below.
- Tall banners carry the graduate's name and class year, adding height on one side.
- Balloon garlands in navy, silver, gold and black wrap the backdrop, with gold starburst accents.
- The setup sits at the foot of a grand staircase, letting the venue's ironwork and marble floor add to the elegance.
Why navy and gold
Navy and gold feel academic and celebratory, and they work with most school colors. Metallic balloons add shine without competing with the printed text, so the graduate's name stays the first thing people read.
Making a graduation backdrop personal
- Include the graduate's name, school and class year.
- Choose colors from the school or the graduate's favorites.
- Leave room in front for caps, gowns and family group photos.
- Place the backdrop where it works with the venue's best features, such as a staircase or window wall.
