How many guests, and what will they do?
A seated dinner needs more space per guest than a standing reception. Add room for a buffet, a dance floor, a stage or a dessert table. Share your full plan so the tent is sized for the event, not only the headcount.
What is the ground like?
Grass, concrete and pavers each need different anchoring. Mention slopes, sprinkler lines and buried utilities. Flooring or carpet may be needed for uneven ground or for elegant events.
What about weather?
Ask whether sidewalls are available for wind or rain, and how heat will be managed in summer. Fans, lighting and power routes should be planned together.
Are permits or HOA approvals needed?
Some cities and neighborhoods have rules for larger tents. Check early so there is time to apply.
