Ganesh Chaturthi brings communities together, and the pandal is at the heart of the celebration. In August 2025, Shreeda Events created this setup for the GreenMeadows community in Celina, captured on video by Vijay Kumar Mannapuram.
The design
- Lord Ganesha sits on a lotus-shaped base dressed in cascading crystal strands.
- A large fan of shell-like panels in blue, purple, pink and white rises behind the idol like a halo.
- Golden pillars topped with fresh flowers stand on either side.
- Embossed silver panels form the walls, and pink and blue uplighting brings out their texture.
Why it works for a community celebration
A community pandal is seen by many families over several days, often from a distance in a busy room. A tall, symmetrical design draws the eye from across the hall, and the bright halo makes the idol the clear focal point for prayers and photos.
Planning a festival setup
Discuss the idol's size early, since the backdrop is built around it. Plan space in front for aarti, offerings and family photos, and confirm power for lighting. For multi-day festivals, choose materials that stay fresh throughout, and agree how and when the setup will be removed after visarjan.
