A grand opening is a business's first impression, and the entrance sets the tone. Shreeda Events designed and set up the decorations for the grand opening of India Metro Hypermarket's third store, on Central Expressway in Allen, close to RKT Temple. We shared the day on our Facebook page in March 2026.
The design
A balloon arch in blue and yellow frames the store's front doors, picking up the colors of the sign above. The arch is tall and wide enough for shoppers to walk through comfortably and easy to spot from the parking lot, which is exactly what an opening day needs.
Why entrance décor matters
- It tells passers-by that something special is happening today.
- It creates a natural spot for ribbon-cutting and team photos.
- Matching the brand's colors makes every photo feel part of the store's identity.
Planning décor for a store opening
Ask the property manager about rules for the sidewalk and entrance, and finish installation before the doors open. Balloon décor outdoors needs secure anchoring, and arches must never block fire exits or automatic doors. Plan the ribbon-cutting moment, too, so photographers can see the owners and the sign together.
